Winsock Error HELP!!

Hi,
I set up my GC-100 using the config page, as soon as I hit "add" I get pop-ups every 4-5 seconds saying=>

Winsock Error, Index: 1 Error: 10061 Description: Connection is forcefully rejected Scode: -2146818227 Source: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mswinsck.ocx CancelDisplay is: True

What on earth does that mean ? Getting it every 5 seconds really fills up the log, even though I have logging set to off !
I believe my address & other setup is correct.
any ideas ?

What version of HS are you running and do you have the latest version of the GC plugin from the HomeSeer updater? Also try updating your MDAC install.

I'm running HS 2.1.104, XP and I just downloaded the plug-in yesterday.
The MDAC download page is a little intimidating. I'm guessing I'd download the MDAC Utility: Component Checker first & go from there ?
