GC100 Winsock Error?

I started receiving these error messages when trying to send a serial command to my GC100 unit:


2/18/2007 11:11:15 AM Global Cache GC100 Winsock Error, Index: 1 Error: 10053 Description: Connection is aborted due to timeout or other failure Scode: -2146818235 Source: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mswinsck.ocx CancelDisplay is: True

Any suggestions as to what's causing it?

Sounds like your Global cache plugin has "died" and no longer has access to the com port. Does restarting HS fix this problem?

It worked fine after a reboot.

Are you still running HS version 2.1.177? If so you may want to move up to the latest release which did address some com port problems.
