I have several devices around the house that uses identical IR (Panasonic TVs in this case) and I wanted to avoid having to record the same IR commands multiple times (one for each zone effectively).
I can't see any obvious export/import or copy functions so I was wondering if I have missed anything or whether anyone else has ideas on how to do this?
I notice that there are a couple of files that appears to hold the commands and associations, e.g. in the Config directory I can see:
- GlobalCacheNew.ini
- IR-Labels.ini
- IR-Zones.ini
There also appears to be a series of IR-Labels.n and IR-Zones.n files, but not sure if these are actually used or some sort of back up files.
Does anyone have experience of editing these by hand? I'd like to feel a little bit more confident about these before I start messing with them!
