iTach reports "connected" status at HomeSeer while it is not connected and not operational. It happened when I mistakenly pointed to the wrong IP address. Things like that happen, however the equipment should report immediately that it is disconnected. Instead it showed connected status. I need solid feedback and assurance that the contact closure commands that I send to iTach are being received and executed. I'm using iTach IP2CC product (IP to contact closure (relay) ).

Sounds like you have the same issue/ complaint as I have--see my message in this forum. No feedback always leaves you guessing if your command arrived at it's destination. Seems as though using the results of the getstate command right afterwards would allow you to know that?
I wonder if Ultra's Global Cache plugin does this?
