Can't get the sample code to work.

Hi all,

so I'm trying to get my Monoprice Matrix Switcher to work with my GC-100, and nothing I do seems to work.
I know the switch connects with the cable since I managed to control it with the software it comes with on the serial port on the computer, but on Homeseer, no luck.
I'm trying to ping the info etc. using the code in the plugin manual, but all I get are errors such as "Method not found" "Expected end of statement" etc.

The GC is device #3, and the manual for the switch is here:

Anybody that can help me get started, I would greatly appreciate it, I've wasted my whole weekend on this already and getting to the end of my rope.

I created a plugin specifically for this switch. You might like to give it a try.

Are you trying to connect the switch to a serial port on an GC100? That should work fine if you configure my plugin for a tcp connection.

thanks, I'll be able to give it a try over the weekend (probably Sunday).
Yes, I'm using the GC-100, but maybe I'll try the serial port on my home server first to make sure it all works.
