Please help I am having troubles.

I have tried the two setups but cannot get IR to work through HDBaseT Tx/Ex

The IR Emitter and HomeSeer plugin work, and I can pass over CAT6A OK but i'd like to go through the IR IN/OUT on my HDBaseT extender. Can anyone help?

I have neither of these devices but if you get no answers I would be of mind to wonder whether or not the pinout is the same on the connectors or whether there is additional processing that is causing issue. Would you consider the output of the GC going to a IR LED that is sealed around an IR phototransistor into the HD transmitter to see if that works? Then both devices are isolated from each other, at the minute you don't know what the HD extender is doing to the signal.

Sorry just to clarify, an IR emitter to a IR Sensor?

Or something like an opto coupler might be able to do the job for you and still maintain the isolation but I think you'd want to know whether or not the pinout of the jack plug was the same. There are a couple of variables here really but I'd try just an IR emitter on the GC into a IR receiver on the HD transceiver and then see whether or not that works, you could either choose to heatshrink the two together and create your own DIY opto coupler or look at some opto's and see whether or not you could send IR using one - this is some information that might help http://www.electronics-tutorials.ws/...tocoupler.html
