continous IR blasting on test

New user.... so sorry if obvious answer (can't find). I got this working (Pro plugin) with an AV component - seemed ok.

I created an event to control powerOn, and then tested it..... and I got nonstop IR coming out of the blaster

I'm sure I probably set up the event wrong. Any suggestions welcome.

Can you post a screenshot of your event?

Sadly, I deleted the events to get the IR to stop blurping.

Just recreated the OFF command as an event and this time it won't work at all. However, if I go into the plugin to test, works fine.

EDIT: wrong screen shot :-) Let me try that again.

Great, what was the issue?

from the THEN statement, i was selecting "control a device". lower on the drop down list was the actual GC "send an IR Signal" choice.
