When I hit "Refresh from ESS" I get this error:

Hey Hector,

Are you sure the serial cable you are using is good? I don't have my ESS yet so I can't try the script.

Hector, A shot in the dark... What language do you have the computer set to? is it Spanish or English?

Here is another version with some additional debuggin. Can you replace your existing programs with these and let me know the results. I am interested in the myCmd and pCmd at the time of the error.

Try rebooting your HA server and then try the scripts.

Today, I rebooted server and changed com. cable I still get:

Have you tried connecting the hardware directly to a com port to eliminate the edgeport as a problem?

My pc does not have serial com.

I have some, but have not had a chance to install them yet. Maybe this weekend I will have some time.

Could the problem be a "Regional" issue? I say this because I onced downloaded one of Jon00 plugs and althougth it was installed correctly it was not working, after several atemps Jon found the problem and said it was a Regional problem. I really dont known what he meant but, I thougth I had to mention it.

I think that is what JackPod was trying to say when he asked if you had the computer set to spanish. Let me spend some time looking at that. Some how I don't think it has anything to do with it because, I've got a nother plugin that gets used in other countries without any issues. But you never know.

Have you tried the version I posted with the additional debugging logging? That would help me figure it out.
