Looks correct. I will try sending you an "unencrypted version" via a pm. I know that there has been a few issues with encryption in some of the upgrades. I am using hs version 2.2.0.127

Looks like I can't send attachments via PM so here is the unencrypted but password protection version. I've PMed the password to you. Let me know how that works.

Yes. The script with vben extention will be ignored and the vb version will be used. The others will replace what you have.

Changed port to 9 and got this error:

9/9/2008 7:43:33 PM - jvESS_Functions - Error = processESSCommand() Conversion from string "F]" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

Is that the only error? Where you able to connect at all? I take it that the ESS is connected to com 9?

There is also a jvESS.ini file that gets created in your c:\program files\homeseer 2\config directory that has some info. Can post it or e-mail it to jvCaddx at renefe dot com?

Are you connecting directly to a com port or using a USB to com adapter?

I opened the INI file and it had this:

9/9/2008 7:43:33 PM - jvESS_Functions - Error = processESSCommand() Conversion from string "F]" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

And yes the ESS is connected to com 9, config page says its connected. I have it connected to a edgeport4.

                      James,
If you send me the password to the zip file I'll try the files here. I do not have the hardware though.

Did it autodetect any of your ESS modules? Have you tried clicking on your startup/shutdown checkboxes to see if it will open/close during HS startup/shutdown?

Your ini file seems crazy. Don't know how that error could have shown up in your ini file. Can you e-mail it to me?
