    Just wonderring, @sirmeili:
    1. Will new plugin version (and following versions) support both XMPP and Websockets?
    2. I.e. will it work with both 193 and 206 FW versions? Or 193 supports both XMPP and Websockets?
    3. Or after upgrading plugin version - I will have to upgrade FW to 206?
    4. Is Websockets API still local or it's webased?

I noticed that with latest FW (206) it does lag a lot, i.e I touch activity icon (on touch remote) - and it looks like nothing happends (as there's no feedback). So I touch again, but on my screen in the same position I have "TV off" command, so it switches off. Just mental!!!!
Here in Australia internet is not as good as in US, so I always try to avoid cloud based devices - it's unreliable and slow.
Even after Australia spent $49B (!!!!) on NBN (National Broadband Network)...
It will only support web sockets, but v .193 should support web sockets too.

As to the slowdown, I've seen that here on some of my hubs I blocked internet access to. It making me mad that not having internet means my hubs become unusable.

Hmmm, my Technicolor TG789 seems to block http:// - but not https://, even if I add specific rule for https://www.myharmony.com

Just curious, did this rule work for you guys with unifi router? My rule never stopped it.

              Hi Aldo,

Yes, I never lost functionality with the plugin since I was able to block the update and stay on .201. I did however, lose phone app functionality after about a day or so. It seemed like the phone app was trying to "download configuration" from the hub directly but needed some handshaking via the internet connection.

Were you able to get the firewall rule working?

I ended up using lan in to block mine instead of want out. I never lost app control, but one of my hubs became unstable as all get out. It was basically unuseable even from the remote.
