    I am running the following
    HS3 PRO
    MeiHarmonyHub version 3.1.0.12

Please let me know what else i can get to you to assist in troubleshooting, it is very frustrating..
FYI< After it crashes, and i close the error on the screen the Plug in restarts no problem that i can recall, and then runs fine for a few days or a week even possibly..

    Thanks
    Fred

I looked up the error message and I found a potential solution for you to at least test. If this works, I'll see if I can adjust my code:

This is just because the application is built in non unicode language fonts and you are running the system on unicode fonts. change your default non unicode fonts to arabic by going in regional settings advanced tab in control panel. That will solve your problem.

That one seemed off , so I dug deeper. Another solution is to try and reinstall the .net framework, or to install the whole framework (SDK). I built this plugin using 4.6.1 so you should install the version of .net or newer.

What version of .net do you have installed?

            Hey Frank,
So interesting enough, I was running .net 4.5.2
I am currently, upgrading to .net 4.6.1
I will let it run and see if that helps...
            I also ran windows updates,
Im running on hometroller windows 7 embedded... and I was way over due for updates..

            I'll keep you posted.
            thanks

I have .Net 4.7.1 (4.7.02558) installed and also have this error occurring. I recently moved my Homeseer installation to a new computer, but also had this error on the previous computer. Both are Windows 7 with Homeseer 3.0.0.500 and 3.1.0.16 of the hub plugin.

I just tried upgrading to .Net 4.8 runtime on the computer but it is still occurring. Do you have any suggestions for what to try next? Thanks.

Today I also tried uninstalling the .Net 4.8 runtime and installed the .Net 4.7.2 full developer version but still have the same error. I can startup Homeseer and it does not crash until I try to use any of the commands in the plugin, then it immediately crashes with the first command.

Can you go to the the plugin general settings, turn on debug logging (check the box, no need to change the HS Logging Level). Then reproduce?

Then can you send me the logs? You can PM them to me instead of posting them on the forum. I don't think they have sensitive information, but better safe than sorry

I was able to get it working. I uninstalled it from Homeseer but it still had the devices listed in Homeseer so I manually deleted them. I then closed Homeseer and went through the folder and any configuration files in Homeseer, trying to delete any traces of it that I could find. After reinstalling it, it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help with it.

Hmm..ok. very weird. I'll try and reproduce in my dev anyways to see if I can get it to break. Glad to hear you got it working .Let me know if it breaks again.

                          almost every day so far..
and the worst part is, when it happens, it stops most other plug ins from working, especially my HSTOUCH

Have you tried 3.1.0.17? I don't know if it will fix your issue ,but it is the newest version. I'm on hour 26 of my work day, but I'll try and look at it soon. Were you able to capture any debug logs?
