Does not work on HS3 v3.0.534

HS3 updated to .534 and MeiHarmony will not start. It simply says Object reference not set to an instance of an object.STACK

I am rolling back my system currently.

It works good here on v 534 . Can’t say what is happening here.

      Hi Brad,

You may want to disable the plugin, restart HS, and the re-enable to see if that resolves the issue. I've seen the updater leave the system in a quesi-unstable state that a clean restart seems to fix.

      Hope this helps,
      Ken

I updated to .534 yesterday and the MeiHarmony plug-in is working well.

I tried stopping plugin, relaunch homeseer, re-enable plugin and same erorr. I then deleted and reinstalled the plugin and same error. Luckily I have full system backups daily so I have restored to the previous night. I can attempt the upgrade again another time and see what happens.

I will check it out with that version. When you did the reinstall of the plugin, did you remove all your configs and everything too?

No, I was not aware deleting the plugin left files behind. In the end it turned out to be the JSON files. They all got blanked out for some reason and a restore from backup fixed it

Yeah, HS3 only removes the .exe file when you "uninstall" a plugin. So if you really want to remove everything, you need to manually do it.

I'll have to double check that issue though with blank configs. it should fail to import and then generate new ones (not that you want that, but that is how the code should work).

Mine isn't working either when I do a Run Discovery I get "Found 0 hubs." yet I can manually control my harmonies and I see both hubs on my client list working swimmingly. I think I too will delete all files and try again, will advise my findings. Mike

UPDATE: Well after deleting MeiHarmony, and subsequent directories and reloading with Beta v.17 I still get "Discover is complete. Found 0 hubs." is it possible that Logitech put out another firmware release, will check on that.

I thought I'd be clever and "Add by IP" but got a message "There was no device found at the IP address."

What happens if you ping that address (via command line) from the HS3 PC?

You can check the hub version in the phone app. Are you on Android or iOS?

just FYI i had the same problem...upgraded and it blanked out my JSON file.

I found a backup and copied it in and restarted the plugin and it appears to be working

Frank, I'm using IOS and noticed that I can see the firmware both using the Harmony app and the actual remote. One of my devices reverted to .250 whilst the other was on .210, I found one of my hubs unable to connect to my WiFi network even thought it was only a few yards away from my AP so I had to replace it with a new one.

Side note I noticed that when I ping either working Hub IP address I still get
"Destination Host unreachable" am I missing something? Mike
