  • Error connecting to hub on Linux after system restore

My system melted down and I had to do use the "system restore". When I install MeiHarmonyHub it no longer works. I swear I had to runs some command line commands on the linux box when I first got this running a couple of years ago. It seems to find the Hubs but get an error trying to connect. Both the beta and non beta versions gave me the same error. Maybe it didn't get completely uninstalled but I don't know the directories to delete manually from the Linux box. so I have not tried that yet. I have tried disable, enable, uninstall, reinstall and reboot.

Here is the error from the log.

Did some more searching and found the same issue posted. It appears I need to update to mono 5. My SEL must be old enough the restore is the old mono version. I'll let you know if that works or not but I'm betting it will and that I had to do it before.

Updating to mono 5 solved the issue. Wish I would have known that was going to make all of my event corrupt (no "if" part and they don't run). Apparently that is a known issue. I should have gotten Harmony up before I created the 59 lighting group and motion events.
