    Exception error in PagePut()-->For-Next Loop

This error message is baffling me. For the life of me, I cannot tell what is going on here. Oddly enough, I can turn the unit on and off, but I cannot load a slot. Here is what I get -- can anyone shed any insight?

I should let you know that it was working -- no problems. I updated from version 2.2.0.12 to 2.2.0.14 and that is when I started to experience this problem. I've tried again to downgrade back to 2.2.0.12 and the problem is persisting. Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Chris,
Just a guess but is there an aspx page that comes with this plugin? If so try backing it up an then removing it and then reinstall the plugin. This page was more than likely updated but the installer may not have overwritten it.

No, the only files in the updates folder that contains the latest files are:

      Folder: <APPPATH>\updates2\Sony CX777ES Plug-In2.2.0.14\...

CX777ES-75.gif (haven't seen this graphic in the plug-in)
      CX777ES.lf (license file)
      CX777ES-Doc.htm (readme/instructions)
      CX777ES-Readme.txt (readme/instructions)
      hspi_CX777ES.dll (the plug-in)
      install.txt (where the files go)

That's it. The DLL creates the page and generates the commands from what I can tell. Thoughts?

I would suggest putting in a help desk ticket on this issue.

To add to my testing today...I really want this to work...I loaded DVD Profiler on my WHS server where HS is running and connected directly to my DVD changer. I'm using the LoadDVD plug-in and I was able to successfully change discs through the application (on a separate COM port). When I use that COM port in HS, no luck...so I doubt it's a COM configuration issue. I think it has something to do with the latest version of HS and the plug-in. I have a ticket and we'll wait and see.

I am the plugin author, and I will check into the PagePut routine tonight. It is possible that I mistakenly changed something in the For-Next loop, although that area of the plugin was not targeted for any changes.

Great -- thanks for looking into it. I was wondering what the GIF was for? I don't see it anywhere in the pages that are displayed.

Any new features in the works or are you interested in receiving some additional feedback?

              Thanks!

                Hello?

What's the scoop? My trial is running out and I want to get this working before it expires. Any news on researching my problem?

The debug screen you posted shows the plug-in version 2.2.0.12 not 2.2.0.14.

I compared the two versions and can not see a difference in the code for that particular page_put() routine. I am at a loss to find a problem introduced in version 2.2.0.14 that would not have been in 2.2.0.12 ????

Please make sure you are using the 2.2.0.14 code, it should show in the debug output as noted above.

Hi. So, interestingly enough, I checked the actual page that is in HS, it states 2.0.0.14. I decided to stop/start the service and have it start up again and it also shows the following:

                    <TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime1 noWrap align=left>1/11/2009 3:03:47 PM </TD><TD class=LOGType1 align=left colSpan=3>CX777ES Debug </TD><TD class=LOGEntry1 align=left colSpan=8>CX777ES Debug Enabled.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime0 noWrap align=left>1/11/2009 3:03:47 PM </TD><TD class=LOGType0 align=left colSpan=3>CX777ES Debug </TD><TD class=LOGEntry0 align=left colSpan=8>CX777ES Debug Logging to AppDirPath\Logs\CX777ES.log.</TD></TR><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime1 noWrap align=left>1/11/2009 3:03:47 PM </TD><TD class=LOGType1 align=left colSpan=3>CX777ES Debug </TD><TD class=LOGEntry1 align=left colSpan=8>CX777ES HS-Version: 2.3.0.19</TD></TR><TR><TD class=LOGDateTime0 noWrap align=left>1/11/2009 3:03:47 PM </TD><TD class=LOGType0 align=left colSpan=3>CX777ES Debug </TD><TD class=LOGEntry0 align=left colSpan=8>CX777ES Plug-In Version: 2.2.0.14</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Is there something else I can try as I'd like to get this working.
