I added another instance for another AVR that is at a different firmware level to see if that was the issue but it does not connect either. Also changed the log to debug level:

I just tried the Sony TV plugin and it connected fine which tells me the problem is likely specific to the AVR plugin and not some other general system problem. Is there a chance that the default port is incorrect? Anything I can check in the config files?

There are some "RX" lines in your logs, meaning the plugin receive some info from the AVR, so at least one of your instance connects fine. The problem seems more related to the way the messages are sent. Could you try to check which instance gets the RX and only enable this one, then post the full debug logs.

it shouldn't be downloaded as a php file, it's a simple text file that you need to put in your Homeseer dir.
