With some trial and error, I figured it out. Here is the set up to allow a PIR to trigger a Homeseer event.

In the CG-100 web setup, set the IR port to "Sensor with auto notify"

In Homeseer, create an event and set the trigger to:

    Status:

The port is held 5 volts high and the trigger occurs when the port goes high which means the PIR would have to apply a normally closed contact to the port. Then when the PIR triggers, the contacts open which triggers the event.

    The even action is:<TABLE border=1 cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=0 width="75%"><TBODY><TR>
    <FORM method="post"></TR><TR><TD noWrap align=left>NetCam Action:
    <SELECT class=FormDropDown size=1 name=param=0> <OPTION value="Take a Picture">Take a Picture</OPTION> <OPTION selected value="Take a Series of Pictures">Take a Series of Pictures</OPTION></SELECT> </TD></TD><TD noWrap align=left>Availible Cameras:
    <SELECT class=FormDropDown size=1 name=param=1> <OPTION selected value=test>test</OPTION></SELECT> </TD></TR></TD></TR></TR><TR><TD noWrap align=left>Number of Pictures to take
<INPUT class=formtext name=param=2 value=10 size=64> </TD></TR></TD></TR></TR><TR><TD noWrap align=left>Delay in seconds between pictures (Decimals allowed, 0.5 equals half second. Limited only by hardware.
    <INPUT class=formtext name=param=3 value=.5 size=64> </TD></TR></TD></TR><TR><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

    Works great!

Yes, when an IR port is configured as an input.

started a topic GC-100 trigger input

    GC-100 trigger input

Does UltraGCIR support the digital input ports on the GC-100? I would like to use some of the digital input ports to trigger an event (i.e. take a series of snapshots from a netcam when a PIR detects motion).
Working...
