Same-ish problem here with my WF2IR. Also can't find IP2IR iTach.
Ihelp works
HS plugin works
Vers. 710-1001-05
On same LAN through Cisco SG200 switches.
Can make it work by turning off firewall.
Question:
Once discovered, is the beacon port necessary again?
If so, I'll punch a hole through for UDP port 9131, if not, I'll just turn the firewall back on after discovery.
Also, since I have basically two duplicate devices (other than comms), how do I differentiate which is which as they both give the same ID info (I'm assuming these are two devices)
ie:
IR Module 1:1 [GlobalCache IR 1:1] - 0 IR Codes
IR Module 1:2 [Global Cace IR 1:2] - 0 IR Codes
IR_BLASTER Module 1:3 [GlobalCache IR_BLASTER 1:3] - 0 IR Codes
IR Module 1:1 [GlobalCache IR 1:1] - 0 IR Codes
IR Module 1:2 [Global Cace IR 1:2] - 0 IR Codes
IR_BLASTER Module 1:3 [GlobalCache IR_BLASTER 1:3] - 0 IR Codes
Thanks,
Z

solved problem
I had a vpn running on the machine. Had to remove VPN and reinstall the network adapter in windows. Something was blocking the broadcast signal. Is working well now. just can't get sensors to be recognized. Using linksys and tplink switches and routers. Thanks for your quick response.

What type of network switch do you have between your HomeSeer system and the Global Cache GC-100 device?

New user UltraGCIR Problems
Just purchased GC-100-12. UltraGCIR does not find it on the network. Works with the generic homeseer plug in. Firmware is 3.2-12. Software is in trial mode. want to purchase but will not if it won't work in my system. HS Pro.
