  • "updateButton()" error

    I had the dreaded USB HUB Error 43 pop up the other day and long story short I had to "Refresh" my Win 8.1 system and reload HS3 from backup.

    When I send a command from the IR Device Control I get the error message: ("updateButton()". Element is undefined). No idea what this means but obviously no signals are being sent.

    I also see the following in the start-up log:

    Dec-04 6:46:45 AM Warning File does not exist: C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS3\html\hspi_ultragcir3\css\lightbox.css

    When I send a signal from the IR Control page I receive the error message "sendirByld()" as well.

    I can't control a single TV in the house and it's driving me nuts!

    All of the GC units show connected but it doesn't appear any commands are being sent.

    I reinstalled the plug-in and that worked well. As soon as I enable the plug-in I see the following in the log:

      Restoring your system from backup appears to have left your system in an unknown state. Have you tried to run the Microsoft Framework repair tool? It may be helpful to contact HomeSeer to see if they have instructions to do that.
