RX-A870

Hi,
I am planning on buying the Yamaha RX-A870 to replace my Matantz SR-5010.
Will this plugin work with this receiver?

It will not. I asked the plug-in author last year if there was going to be an update, but the question was never answered. I did a free trial of the plug-in last year and it did not work correctly with my two RX-A770s, my RX-A870 or my RX-A1070. It mostly worked, but there were some critical problems.

on another note, how do you like the RX-A870?
I have all sorts of connection issues with XM and especially Spotify on the Marantz SR-5010, that is why I am looking at the A870

I missed this post last month. Our online services are working well. We only use Pandora and SiriusXM, but they connect reliably and do not drop out. Airplay works well also. We have a pair of RXA770s an RX-A870 and an RX-A1070. All of them have been stellar for the year we have owned them.
