Can't control Yamaha RX-A3070 - Can only see Statuses but Can't Make Changes

Has anyone encountered this issue. I'm having no errors from the plugin in the logs. All of the devices were created when I added a new amplifier. There is no profile for my exact model, which is an RX-A3070, so I chose RX-A3060. I can see all of the statuses such as zone power, current input, current volume, etc.

When I try to change anything, like volume or inputs has no effect and no errors are generated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I posted about these problems last year here. There was never an answer from the plug-in author. While the author has visited from time to time, there has been no response in quite a while.

I have the RX-A3070 as well, but if it doesn't work, I guess there's no reason for me to buy the plugin.
