  • HS Blue Iris connection failing

    Having some issues with the HS to BI connection bombing out.
    Can only resolve it by restarting both BI and HS.
    Dont know if this is due to things breaking with a BI update or not.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Blue Iris release 6.6.6.0 x64
    HS3 Standard Edition 3.0.0.379 (Windows)
    BI Plugin 3.1.1.24385

    I'm assuming you're running BI 4.6.6.0 rather than 6.6.6.0?

    This looks to me like there is an issue with the credentials being supplied to BI from HS3.

    My recommendation would be to grate a dedicated admin account in BI for the plugin, and use those credentials solely for the plugin. Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

      Yeah the version thing was a typo.

      I had created a user for HS3 but it only had USER credentials. Have changed it now to ADMIN. Will keep you posted.
