  • NetCam NameResolutionFailure accessing local network but works through external DDNS

I've had NetCam working for a long time on this ZEE S2. About a month and a half ago it just stopped serving up video. Finally looking into this.

All of the cameras are Foscam and installed around 2+ years ago. Most are FI9821P and a few newer R2 V4 models. Most of the cameras are current firmware.

    Observations on operability:
    - All cameras are accessible through the FOSCAM iPhone app
    - All cameras are accessible from a local PC on the LAN
    - All of the cameras are accessible via web browser remotely through the FIOS router via DDNS (and direct IP address)
    - All of the cameras are accessible when coded in NetCam Config as DDNS name. The Zee S2 can "reach out" and access the cameras
    - NONE of the cameras are accessible when the internal IP address is coded eg:
    http://192.168.1.238:10183/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=XXXX&pwd=YYYY

I also tried the sledge hammer approach installingtUltraNetCam3 with the same NameResolutionFailure result.

Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?

I am having a similar problem but with Amcrest cameras. Auto discover does not work on Amcrest but still works on the Foscam cameras.
