Netcam not creating CurrentImage.jpg from new camera

I have a new Dahua IPC-HFW2831T-ZAS-S2 camera. I've found out the format that allows you to put in the authentication info right into the URL, and when I put that string into a browser window, I get back an image - just like with my other cameras. I've entered this URL into the Netcam config, but when I ask Netcam to take a picture, it doesn't create a CurrentImage.jpg the way it does with the other cameras. How to debug this? Is there any tech support for this plugin I could send an email to?

    Bump
I've the same problem - I've recently added a new camera, and netcam does not want to do anything with it.
Hitting the URL works from a browser on the system, it doesn't require authentication, yet currentimage.jpg doesn't update with the new picture. Forcing a picture update via the device or within the PI basically does nothing.
There's nothing in the HS logs, what else is there to check? The HS4 PI is pretty much worthless since it can't do the basic part of snapshotting like the HS3 version.

Ok, so weird thing here - pointing a browser works with no authentication, but apparently whatever the PI does requires that the authentication is present (like maybe anonymous or something is negotiated directly in chrome)
So my url was http://a@192.168.x.x/snap.jpg?JpegCam=0, and it works via browser.
If the PI tried it, it would fail.

To get it to work, I used this:
      http://usernameassword@192.168.x.x/snap.jpg?JpegCam=0

The native cameras in HS4 also need the authentication part to work too....

For whatever it's worth, my problem got fixed by stopping and re-starting the plug-in.
