  • Can't get SS plugin to work

I have a Q-Nap running SS 5.1.1.4.4 (latest per qnap) with 3 cameras.
I installed the SS plugin to give it a try.
I'm not quite sure what to put in the SS plugin config page but I know that my authentication info is correct and yet i keep getting the following error in the HS3 logs as soon as i save the config:

    Jan-31 09:40:05 SurveillanceStation Error System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "/Config/HSPI_SurveillanceStation.ini". at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, System.IO.FileMode mode, System.IO.FileAccess access, System.IO.FileShare share, System.Int32 bufferSize, System.Boolean anonymous, System.IO.FileOptions options) [0x00164] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, System.IO.FileMode mode, System.IO.FileAccess access, System.IO.FileShare share, System.Int32 bufferSize, System.IO.FileOptions options, System.String msgPath, System.Boolean bFromProxy, System.Boolean useLongPath, System.Boolean checkHost) [0x00000] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.IO.FileStream:.ctor (string,System.IO.FileMode,System.IO.FileAccess,System.IO.Fi leShare,int,System.IO.FileOptions,string,bool,bool,bool) at System.IO.StreamWriter.CreateFile (System.String path, System.Boolean append, System.Boolean checkHost) [0x0001c] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor (System.String path, System.Boolean append, System.Text.Encoding encoding, System.Int32 bufferSize, System.Boolean checkHost) [0x00055] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor (System.String path, System.Boolean append, System.Text.Encoding encoding, System.Int32 bufferSize) [0x00000] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at System.IO.StreamWriter..ctor (System.String path) [0x00008] in <885b6d97fbc743558f4bb402a2f41b55>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.IO.StreamWriter:.ctor (string) at IniParser.SimpleIniParser.write (System.String path) [0x00000] in :0 at IniParser.SimpleIniParser.save () [0x00000] in :0 at HSPI_SurveillanceStation.ConfigurationStore.Save () [0x001f6] in :0

after some time passes i also see this in the HS3 logs. Odd that the URI is invalid and there doesn't seem to be an IP listed below given that i entered it in the plugin's config:

    Jan-31 09:41:38 SurveillanceStation Error System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed. at System.Uri.CreateThis (System.String uri, System.Boolean dontEscape, System.UriKind uriKind) [0x0007b] in :0 at System.Uri..ctor (System.String uriString) [0x00014] in :0 at System.Net.WebRequest.Create (System.String requestUriString) [0x0000e] in :0 at Synology.WebRequest.GetUrl (System.String url, System.UInt32 timeout) [0x00000] in :0 at Synology.SynologyBase.Execute (Synology.IApiCommand cmd) [0x000ed] in :0

When I navigate to SS within Q-Nap I notice the web interface is using port 8080. But changing the port in the SS plugin to 8080 doesn't help so maybe i'm on the wrong track and it should remain 5000 (the default)?
