Will you be updating this software Plug-in to work with HS4?

Unfortunately It is too much effort for me to update the plugin for HS4. I currently don't have the time for it, and the effort vs revenue ratio is too low (at the moment). Also, HS3 plugins work fine in HS4. This makes me wonder how many people will be willing to pay the upgrade fee for some graphical tweaks.

Maybe in a year when HS4 has gained popularity (and maturity), i might create an upgrade. Probably not the answer you were looking for, sorry :-(

I will continue to support this plugin and it should work fine in HS4 ( i recently added the home/away feature for example)

I've upgraded to HS4, since than the sms push feature from surveillance camera plugin is not working anymore. Any ideas?

Apparently the web/json api changed a bit in HS4, something with credentials. There's a thread about it somewhere on the forum.

No password is generated by Synology, and in HS3 it worked.

I see that my synology blokked the IP from my HS4 systeem I'm try to release it

I made a new user, with only read rights
Now its ok, the cameras are in the device list.

The motion works for me.
Synology cam detects motion -> HS4 device change status -> event trigers -> action

I'm unable to pin down a specific page or thread that discusses the mentioned JSON credentials change in HS4. I see the February 2020 release note about honoring them when present. I see the thread about using basic auth, and that's already in the guide and in my config, but I'm failing with an invalid credentials error.

I've confirmed that my HS4 system is not IP-blocked by Synology, and nor should it because devices were created successfully.

I'm stumped on how to get my very simple text admin username and password to authenticate in user***@ip format and send a motion notification to the plugin via JSON. I started a thread, but I thought it might be worthwhile to tag along here if anyone has notifications set on this thread.
