    Enabling Foscam Alarm Trigger

I am trialing UltraNetCam3 on my Zee S2, but having trouble with this step.

    I have a Foscam FI9816P.

According to the documentation, I have to send a command to the camera as follows:

    http://192.168.100.121:88/set_alarm....min&pwd=xxxxxx

I gather I do this from a web browser, right? When I do, I get a 404 - Not found.

Should 'hspi-ultranetcam' be replaced with 'hspi_ultranetcam3' in that http string? I tried that but it does not work.

username and password is for the camera which is the same as that for the Zee S2 anyway.

Is this the correct CGI command for my Foscam FI9816P?

Foscam removed the alarm feature in the newer H.264 cameras. They were supposed to add it back, but never did. Feel free to send Foscam an e-mail stating you want the feature added to the H.264 cameras

Oh, that is too bad. I suspect they won't be interested since that would allow alternatives to their own cloud storage subscription which I am not so keen on supporting.

What is a compatible Foscam model that would have some of the same features as the FI9816P?

I'm looking to change my cameras to a compatible Foscam camera. Your documentation suggests the FI8910 and FI9826, which are readily available locally.

Can you confirm whether the Alarm trigger is working with Ultranetcam3 in these two models?

During the time I developed the plug-in, the FI8910 and FI9826 supported a hidden feature allowing for an HTTP trigger when motion was detected. I no longer have either of these cameras and therefore cannot confirm if either one still supports it.

I know there has been issues with the Foscam company causing Foscam USA to start their own brand (https://amcrest.com/). I sent them an e-mail and asked if they have any cameras that support an HTTP or TCP trigger on motion. The documentation of their cameras do indicate they support a hard wired alarm trigger on the back of the camera which could also be used to trigger a motion alarm. I'll let you know what I find out.
