Do you use Node-RED, MQTT and HomeSeer?

Your posts are not appearing together but because you are in Canada to save yourself a headache, here you go : THE ONLY REMOTE YOU NEED (https://www.savant.com/pro-remote) But read the reviews ====> https://www.amazon.co.uk/Savant-Univ...ustomerReviews

Else, the computer control you have to push someone really hard because solutions already exist.

Have you tried my MediaController PI? I recently added WebOs remote control features, including toastmessages (text on screen) etc

dcorsus How is this done? I have tried different things, but cannot find where this would be possible.

Sure, as soon as I ask, I find the info on how to do it. So, nevermind.

Not sure I understand what you are saying, can you elaborate. Did you try the PI? To control a WebOS LG TV, the PI only uses UPNP to discover the device, all else I very specific LG tailored code.

Sorry, I was specifically talking about the showing a message on the screen of a LG TV. I got it figured out by finding one of your other posts on the subject.
