  • Settings PlugIn and Instance Properties with Remote PlugIn

    New plugin developer here.....

I've got a simple plugin running. Since I run my HomeSeer system on a dedicated PC but do my C# development on my developer PC, I just set the IP address to the HomeSeer system and it connects as a remote plugin. So far, very cool!

When it connects, I see my plugin listed on the "intefaces" screen in the "Remote Plugins" section of the screen, but the plugin name and instance name columns are blank.

How do I set the plugin name and instance name when running as a remote plugin?

Actually, which "simple plugin" are you talking about?

I thought you mean my library https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/de...plugin-library?

Try mine, it's simple enough. Just note that it's HS3, and there's HS4 already in Beta, so maybe it's better to start from HS4...
