  • which mono for hs3 , hs3 on a nas ?

i was studying the possibilities of a synology nas for a server function based on aspx. i read mono 3 is required for net .4 but is still in beta ? so is hs waiting for the first stabel version ?

the second question is hs3 on a nas like synology a possibility ?

I am currently running Mono on an Arch Linux box and mcsSprinklers and it works:

    [root@ICS-MCSSprinklers ~]# mono -V
Mono JIT compiler version 2.10.8 (tarball Sat Dec 31 02:07:23 UTC 2011)
Copyright (C) 2002-2011 Novell, Inc, Xamarin, Inc and Contributors. www.mono-project.com
    TLS: __thread
    SIGSEGV: normal
    Notifications: epoll
    Architecture: armel,soft-float
    Disabled: none
    Misc: softdebug
    LLVM: supported, not enabled.
GC: Included Boehm (with typed GC and Parallel Mark)
I would though "practice" playing with most current version of mono on something other than a NAS box as it'll run on just about anything these days.

I think too that HS is still far away from an installation on Linux; but that is me and my personal opinion right now.
