Just updated to 3.0.0.11...still getting a failed installation but it works

however, the next time i run hs it asks me to upgrade to 3.0.0.11 again

how to fix this?

for the record I get the same results on a new installation on a pc that never had hs installed.


I started with 3.0.0.2 and the got the msg to upgrade to 3.0.0.11 and get a failed msg after it installed. and then I continue to get the update to 3.0.0.11 on restart

this is really annoying. can some help me resolve this!

Mark - dont quote me on this, but I think it has to do with installing HS3 in a non-default folder, maybe even on a different drive? Are you letting the install go to the default folder? What about 32-bit vs 64-bit?

you might be onto something with the default folder. I installed into \Homeseer 3

i've installed 32 and 64 bit into the same folder name with the same results
