A way to make a device parent, and associate it with (N) of children * LInux

Is there a way to do that ?
This is the only reason i keep mono 5.0.1.1 ( Jon00Grouping), and I would like to move to the actual release.

look at deviceassociations in hs3help for scripting. assign a parent property to 1 and add list of ref for children. for each child assign the child property and point ref to the parent
