Changing function name on a RunScriptFunc Event wipes out script

Anyone else seen this behavior? I added a manual RunScriptFunc event to test out a function in a script yesterday. After writing all day in Visual Studio, I added another entry point function call to the script. When I went to change the function name in the Event, as soon as I hit the "Submit" button, Homeseer overwrote my script with it's "version" in the text window, wiping out a day's work. My bad for not having version control established in Visual Studio, but that is a super annoying "feature", and IMHO an example of bad program behavior.

edit: after assuring myself that I didn't have a backup of today's work anywhere, I went back to explore the HS event behavior. Apparently, my version of HS automatically saves whatever is in the Script box on a "Sub or Function" textbox change, without bothering to check the file time stamps, even without me clicking on the "Save Script Edits" button. Is there any way to completely disable script editing within HS entirely?
