UK Specific Scripts

I'm about to start working on generating some UK specific scripts and before I start I want to make sure that I'm not re-inventing the wheel.

The specific scripts I was going to write were:-

UK Weather;
UK News (national and local);
UK TV Listings;

Any pointers to existing scripts or suggestions for UK scripts would be welcome.

A while ago someone created a Weather Script to pull info from BBC website. I have merged both the ideas from the Hunter weather.com script (Which is full of really good ideas) with pulling data from BBC (In my experince the weather.com site was too unreliable for Milton Keynes... )... As this is a merge of both ideas I have not posted it (yet...).Also it pulls web info that is very specific to my area .

I use Dsteineuro's weather script which seems OK. But I agree the weather.com site seems to change it's design too regularly for my liking...

I'd be grateful for an updated weather script with UK sourced data (BBC or whatever).

Nothing to add - just interests me.

Any/all scripts welcome - beta testing a speciality!

Well here it is ... No real credit to me as all ideas are from Hunter . I just adapted both scripts to work for BBC web site with a tack on for Milton Keynes. I have 2 attachments
a.The scripts
1. createbbcweatherdevs.txt which creates the items in homeseer
2. getbbcweather.txt which is the actual guts of the script .
3. Modified Ultra_view2_xml.txt to avoid web server crashes .

b. All the icons from the weather.com script by Hunter with a few added/modified so it will work to -10 degrees C and co-exist with Ultraview
