If a user does NOT use scripts in HS and changes a Device Name or an Event Name the HS software updates all places that reference that name and everythiong continues to work.
BUT, if you use a Device Name/Event Name in a script, then change the name, the script does NOT get updated with the new name and no longer works.
How does the user community deal with this issue in an efficient and effective manner??
Has anyone developed a "Script Updater" program that can trigger of HS's saving a new name(Device/Event) and scan all the scripts in the Script Directory for the old name and update the script to include the new name? Sure would be a valuable program
