  • Little help (error) on Kevin's Thermostat script

    If any one can help - I have been getting this error message for some time now (doesn't seem to affect much):

    1/18/2002 6:13:28 PM~!~X10 Received~!~J6 (?) J Preset Dim 8
    1/18/2002 6:13:28 PM~!~Event Trigger~!~X10 Trigger (RCS Receive J)

    1/18/2002 6:13:30 PM~!~Info~!~ Script Error, File: rcs_tx15b.thm: 0: in line 0

    It always refers to line "0" - any ideas? Here are the first few lines of script I am using:

    SUB Main(Parm)

    DIM I, TS
    TS = hs.GetVar(ThermoStat)
    I = 1
    DO UNTIL I > LEN(TS)
    hs.DisableEvent "ThermoStat Monitor-" & MID(TS, I, 1)
    I = I + 1
    LOOP
    Parm = UCASE(Parm)
    SELECT CASE Parm
    CASE "MONITOR"
    ThermoStat_Monitor
    CASE "UPDATE"

    Thermostat code is "J", using Version 3.0 BETA

    Thanks in advance!

    Patrick, did you disable the event that Rich activates by default when you add a TSTAT. The Event is "RCS Receive J",and is different from the events I create.
    I've been real busy, but I have a slightly updated Beta that disables that event. I have a couple of other updates I want to finish before I release this as live code.

    p.s. feel free to e-mail me directly with issue's.
