I had to reinstall everything on my homeseer computer. (Very long painfull story)
nyway. I had a copy of this script backed up. I put it in my script directory, created an event that is triggered by x10 command. Housecode N, any unit code and any command. I put this script in the Speach\script section. Howeve when I press N1 on I get the following error:

cannot call this method while script is executing.

I have palyed and cannot figure out wht is going on. Please help. It has been a long weekend.

      Kirk,

HomeSeer expects to see all scripts in the \HomeSeer\scripts folder. I don't know if you meant what you said in your message. Perhaps this is part of the problem.

        Hi,
I've seen the same message before.

"cannot call this method while script is executing."

I had installed Hs/Hsp on a PC without any of the interfaces attached. Then copied my Hs directory onto this machine. Then when I ran an event I would get the same message. Once I had all the interfaces installed, I then ran an update and reinstalled the latest beta's again. Then all was well.

Thanks for the input guys. I do have it in the Homeseer/Scripts folder. Just got lazy when typing. I will try finishing mty install of all devices and scripts and interfaces and then start playing.

I am not looking forward to this.....

I feel your pain! I can't imagine doing all the stuff to my server that I have done over the years in a few days.

I'm not usually good about backing up, but HomeSeer is one thing I always back up, for the simple fact that, I have put alot of work into it.
