Ultra View2 floor plan view feature request

    UltraJones,

I finally got my floor plan to work successfully. Awesome job with this. It looks great!!

Most of my switches in the house control more than one light. For example, I have a switch for my front porch lights (3 of them), but I can only show one light on the floor plan. Is there a way to show a certain number of light bulbs per light switch with your configuration tool.

I would also like to be able to change the icon that is shown on the floor plan for things like speakers, Christmas Tree, receptacles, etc.

Is there an easy way to accomplish these tasks.

    Cheers,
    Bob

Have you tried to create a HomeSeer device for each light, then assign them all to the same house/unit code? I think that should work...

To keep things simple, the ability to specify icons is based on hs.devicestring. See more information, see: http://ubb.homeseer.com/6/ubb.x?a=tp...3&m=6932940293

      UltraJones,

      Thanks for the responses.

Sometimes when I load up my floor plan the icons are showing fine, but the floor plan image disappears. Then if I refresh again it might bring the image back or sometimes it still will not work.

      Any ideas?

      Cheers,
      Bob

Have you tried clearing out your internet cache and shutting down HS and restarting it. This is a chronic problem when using the HS web server but a restart of HS seems to clear it up for a while.

                Blade,
Is your floorplan within the max specs in size? if memory serves, it's like 800x600. It's documented in the Help docs with UltraSuite.

My image size is width=501 and height=700. It think this is within the range.
