    Burnout Monitor

    Burnout Monitor

Burnout Monitor is a light bulb checking script pack that will open an image from your security image files after dark and sample the color in an area of the picture you define. This area is where the glow from an X10 controlled light (or any light in the camera field of view) should be located in the image. The RGB values are returned and compared to black which should be 0,0,0. The RGB values if the light is on will be something different and the script would then set your Burnout Monitor HomeSeer device to the appropriate setting for that image.

The location to monitor in the image is mapped with an included setup utility that writes these values into an ini file for the Burnout Monitor script to access. This sets up the location mapping to your individual screen, preferred resolutions, and image sizes. These ini settings will have to be remapped or updated manually if you change any of these screen related elements.

Multiple images can be mapped and different events then setup to check on the status of individual bulbs.

The script requires that AutoIt3 is installed on the HomeSeer computer if you would like to tweak the scripts yourself. Otherwise it is not required.

HSC.exe command line utility is required.

    Hope this helps, enjoy. Terry.
