    [VB.NET/ASP.NET] WhozzCID Caller ID Package

This is the first release (maybe only?) of my WhozzCalling Caller ID package. It is nearly identical to my NetCallerID package (see http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=127270) but adapted to interface to the mult-line Caller ID boxes from www.CallerID.com. These boxes have several advantages over the NetCallerID:
    1. They are available! (the NetCallerID boxes are not)
    2. They support multiple lines (2/4/8) and use only one serial port
    3. The standard Model (WhozzCalling? 2/4/8) also reports outbound calls. I've modified my package to take advantage of this, with an outbound call log web page.
Although this is the first version, it is named as v1.26 to track along with the NetCallerID package. With the exception of the outbound call feature, they are now identical in features.

www.callerid.com has several models. This current version of the package was designed for the WhozzCalling?4, but should work fine with the two line model as well. It would be easy enough to support 8 lines (I'd have to change one of the web pages), but I'll wait until someone asks. As far as I know, it also should work fine with the two lower-cost models (WhozzCalling?LITE 4/8 and the WhozzCalling?POS 2/4/8) but I don't think those models support outbound call tracking.

There isn't currently any way to port the NCID databases (Phonebook and Call Log) to this package, but it wouldn't be hard. If someone who is currently using my NCID package wants to port over their databases, either post a comment in the discussion thread or send me a PM.

Please post any comments or questions in the discussion thread here: http://board.homeseer.com/showthread...005#post851005.

I guess I forgot to mention: This package is FREE (and would continue to be, just like my NetCallerID pacakge), although it hardly makes up for the relatively high cost of the CallerID.com boxes. Oh well, I've done my part.

I've migrated all of the capability of this package to my new SnevlCID package (posted here: http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=133636).

I will not be doing any further maintenance or enhancements to the package posted in this thread. Rather, I'll take whatever anyone needs fixed or extended and putting it in the new package.

I've worked pretty hard to make sure it is a VERY easy transition from this package to the new one. I've got some instructions on how to move to the new packge (only two steps), and I hope everyone can do so. If you have any issues, let me know.
