This script updates devices for the IP address and status of your IPCop Firewall machine.
If your IP address changes it sends an email to a user supplied ip address(es).
Info on IPCop can be found at IPCop Web Page. I highly recommend this product for those people that share an internet connection amongst multiple PCs. Can be used at home or for small businesses. It includes such things as DHCP, DNS caching, web proxying (Squid), SSH, dns updating via many popular services (hn.org, no-ip.com etc.), VPN and DMZ's. I have it running on an old Compaq P133 with 32MB RAM and an old 400 MB HD.
