23 Jan update as mentioned in the discussion group. Make sure the calling program checks the exit status of this program for FALSE and retries if wanted - can happen due to internet glitches.

Here's a new version. Use this program if you want to automatically do the following: Dowload TV listings from Zap2IT.com, delete all advertising, reformat the fonts/colors to your choice, create new HTML files of listings for up to 6 hours, sorted by time, and another HTML file sorted by Channel, suitable for viewing in a browser. Also creates a plain text file of all TV listings, with tab-delimited fields for time, channel, provider (e.g., FoodTV), show title, show description. This text can import into a DBMS or Excel or whatever.

There are sample HTML and Text files in the download.
I use this on my HS PC to send TV listings to the family TV's video in jack, and scroll the listings and choose the desired HTML files using the TV's remote (PC not used). You may have a different use for the two HTML files and one text file produced by this program.
You'll need a user account and preferences at Zap2It.com. Logout of Zap2it after setting these.
