This script parses the Homeseer log for IP addresses for guest, failed & authorized logins.
Each IP address is then sent to a Whois server to obtain details such as Name, Address, City,Country etc.
A new "Whois.CSV" file is created and stored in the Homeseer directory.
Subsequent running of this script will only update the "Whois.CSV" file when new entries appear in the Homeseer log.
This script will also update 3 virtual devices of the last visitor to have guest, authorized or failed login attampt.
Full viewing to the "Whois.CSV" file is available via the whois.asp page supplied with this script.
This will show the following info:
Time&Date
IP Address
Login type (Guest,failed or Authorized)
Number of visits of the IP address
Whois Name
Whois ID
Whois Address 1
Whois Address 2
Whois City
Whois State/Province
Whois Postcode/Zipcode
Whois Country
2 ASP pages have been supplied. As there is so much information to be displayed, the 'Full' ASP page will only display on a desktop 1280x1024 without scroll bars. The "Condensed" version should display on 1024x768 but does not have the address information displayed.
As I do not (yet) allow guest login's, I would really appreciate some feedback on this script to see if the information is being parsed correctly.
