One of the problems with my original script to check IP lookup was that it only checked the ARIN (American registry for internet numbers) Whois database.
I have now added checking of both RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens)and APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Centre) Whois databases to give you far better information from these regions.
This also helps to take the load off the ARIN server.
For those already using V1, just replace it with V1.1. If you want to rebuild the whois.csv file, just delete it and keep running the script until you get current information. If you are happy with the information already stored in the whois.csv, then just leave it alone.
Let me know what you think about this one
Discussion here
UPDATE: The C2GWhios com object required for this script is no longer available from the company who wrote it. However, you can still download it from my HS Webserver www.jon00.me.uk/hs.html
