I am probably missing something here (long day), but I am not understanding what the problem is. It looks like you are talking about the debug messages, which you will see when verbose logging is turned on. Everything seems to check out from what you have shown me.

        what does this mean?
This was my original question. Every time the event is checked I get this message.

Whenever a device value/string monitored by my.Trigger changes, my.Trigger will check it, and go through the whole process, even if there isn't a match. This isn't really an error message, it's just letting you know what's going on.

So in other words it saying, I checked the values, but there still not true? But what does it mean by "unable to extract numerical value"

It usually means that after stripping all the extra stuff, it couldn't find any numbers.

No problem, don't hesitate to ask more questions if you have any.

I also recommend you check out my new script, my.Alert, which can pull down any webbased data into a device value/string (such as weather temps, stock vaues, etc.).

I did purchase Homeseer 3, so once it's stable, I'll make some time to convert it. One of the reasons for lack of development is the fact that there is no longer a dev license, so I can't run a 2nd dev machine without getting a new temporary license every x days.

That said, I really don't understand why this basic functionality isn't being added to Homeseer, especially now that there is a new major release underway.

Happy to hear it's working well for you, I'm using it as well, and haven't had a single hiccup since I released the software.

Can I use 2 words in the "Contains" trigger? Like "thunder, warning" or "tornado, warning" so it doesn't trigger on the watches. These are just 2 examples for others i would like to try too.

                        Thanks,
                        Tim
