Unknown caller reported after 3 rings

    Steve

I've got a slight problem with the CID package. The third ring is being interpited as the first ring of a new call. See log excerpt below. Is there any way to delay the modem reset or the time to recognize a new call to more than 7 seconds?

What modem are you using? Are you using HSPhone or another package?

I'm using a MultiTech MultiModem MT9234zpx and no HSPhone. Other than the additional anouncement and logging of the "Unkown Caller" after the third ring, it works fine.

        Lou,

I'm guessing (from the 'Steve' reference and the fact that the debug looks familiar) that this is regarding SnevlCID. You probably want to post this stuff in the SnevlCID discussion thread, rather than here.

Let me look at this after work tomorrow.

          Lou,

There's a pretty easy way to up the time from 7 seconds, but I keep it kind of hidden. Please send me an email at snevl at msn dot com and I'll reply with a really simple instruction.
