IMAP email counter

Hi,

I am searching and trying all kind of things myself, but I can not find anything that works..

I'm looking for a simple script which puts the number of my (unread) mails in a device code.

All scripts and plugins I found only supports POP3 mail boxes, but I need IMAP support because my mail boxes (Apple mail) do only support IMAP.

Any help is more than welcome.....
