Looks like the {} enclosed text for Pushover/RNCC items in question has solved the problem, no more "Event Has No Message Body - Error" messages. Mike

Testing may have found a bug or 2:

      1. Not sure if this is by design... when I set a Lock code line item to 'Not Set' it never sends Pushover; even if Pushover Checkbox is checked.

      2. (log attached) seems the script reports 'Manual Lock' even when it should be 'Manual Unlock'
For number 1, I'm not sure what you mean by "Not Set", can you clarify?

For number 2, the script reports what it get's from HS's lock devices. It sends whatever it gets from that without modifying it.

I've since went into my DoorLock setup for each doorlock and updated my specific "Action Message" from [%PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR%] to [%PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR%]{%PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR%} in the hopes that the {} enclosed text will take care of the Pushover error, thanxs in advance Mike

Side note: is there anyway of knowing/denoting what the latest version of you script is?
The behavior you seeing is how it is supposed to work. The [] tags are for speech only and the {} tags are for Pushover/RCCNM/email only. If you don;t use any tags, it would be used for all of those (speech/Pushover/RCCNM/email). Let me know if the wording in the Column Explanations at the bottom of the page is not clear and I'll update it.

Right now you need to open the files in a text editor to see the version number. Should be 6.95 in the script file (doorlock.vb) and 6.9 in the web page (doorlock.aspx). I'll see if I can display them somewhere else for the next version.

Ok, I see what you mean. For Pushover messages, a priority has to be set, but I'll probably change that in a future version to default to Low, if it is not set.

I thought, in the past, 'not set' still fired off a notice... Seems like it no longer does?

Al your Column Explanation is great what's missing is something that if I select "Pushover/RCCNM" column then I need to have the text in red also; [%PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR%]{%PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR%} otherwise you will receive any error in ones logs. I'm not sure if I use %PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR% and have both "Pushover/RCCNM" and "Announce" columns selected if that would work?

I do not see version 6.9 in the Webpage, me thinks that would be good within the Settings Tab.. Mike

Hi Mike, yes, anything not enclosed in tags will get used by both. So %PERSON% has unlocked the %DOOR% , will work without having to repeat it enclosed by both sets of tags. I'll include the listing of the version numbers in the next update.

                    Cheers

Maybe it did, I don't specifically recall, but will make sure it does in the next version.

I've had this working and suddenly I'm getting this error: Processing ASP.NET page: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. So I upgraded to the latest version, but didn't make a difference.Any thoughts on how I can fix it?

Edit: I fixed it with these Instructions, this applies for Windows: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...ervice-or-task

I'm lost somewhere in the settings section. First I get settings, enter the one lock name I have, a to email and a from email. Then click "Submit"
Then in the upper left corner I use the drop down to get to my lock screen. Here I input the two device ids of my lock notification and the actual lock.
Then do I click submit OR create logging device?

After that, a new number pops up for the device that was created by the script but I can't seem to get anywhere from here.

                            Help please.

You need to manually create a virtual device for the script to log to. Once you have that created, enter the reference ID in the LoggingDev field and confirm that the reference ID for the lock's notification device is correct in the NotificationDev field. Then click submit and more entries will appear on the screen that allow you to configure the notifications. If something does not work as expected, please post screen shots and send me an IM with your doorlock.ini file that would have been created in the config folder.

I understand what you're writing but the script creates a virtual device. I have to create one as well?
