I'm assuming that you told HS about your custom web page by going to View > Options > Web Server > Customize web site. In the Link textbox under Page 1, you're only entering the file name test1.html, right? Not the full path. Did you double-check spelling (.htm vs. .html)??

yeah ive checked that ive even put two different pages in the directory but cant get either to work i have successfully linked an external page to an .asp page in the directory to trigger an event but i wanted to host a few pages of my own in homeseer and yeah i just entered the file name ie. test1.html any other ideas

        Supergee,
Here's a screen shot of the syntax. I have a page in my HS/HTML directory named mypage.htm. The easiest way to test it is to select the world globe icon on the HS GUI.

How are you trying to access the page? You should be entering something like http://192.168.0.1:8080/test1.html, where 192.168.0.1 is HS' IP address and 8080 is the port set for HS' Web server.

Ah ha!!! You should get the password prompt, unless you are accessing from a computer that is allowed to bypass the password. Are you entering the HS account setup for Web access or the guest account?

                  Username: guest
                  Password: guest

Try the htm extension instead and see if that works.
