have zero security soft installed, disabled windows firewall, nothing changed on my network (so all the port forwarding and such....oh, dang, i just realized, I forgot to manually set the ip address of this machine to the same as it was before i migrated!
well, I have solved many problems this way, typing a question, and imagining what everyone's answer would be...guess what, you were right (I'm assuming, anyway). well, I'll go ahead and leave this, so others can feel better about their stupid mistakes, or read this and go, "oh, yeah, I should try that"
actually, it may not be a bad idea to add "change the ip address" to the "seven steps" instructions from Gogs..!
