  • Does HS3 Support 3rd Party Clients?

Can I write my own client to read and to the HS system/environment? I want to create my own client which is based on an image of my home and just send requests to homeseer for status and to initiate events.

Is it possible? If so, where can I find info on how to interface?

    Thanks.

Everything is possible if you know a little scripting/programming. I've made my own basic plugin to fetch device information (and control them) using simple URL commands and reading text strings. I will convert the plugin to HS3.

See here for the HS2 version: TextSeer.
HSPro 3.0.0.458, Z-NET with Z-wave plugin 3.0.1.190, RFXCOM + 2x RFXtrx433E, HSTouch, Squeezebox plugin, iTach IP/WF2IR & GC-100-6 with UltraGCIR, BLDenon, NetcamStudio, Jon00s Webpage builder, Harmony Hub plugin, SCSIP (with FreePBX), Arduino plugin, IFTTT, Pushalot plugin, Device History plugin.
Running on Windows 10 (64) virtualized
on ESXi (Fujitsu Primergy TX150 S8).
